Terms of Service

Realtors' Practice is a property intelligence platform for the Nigerian real-estate market. We aggregate listings from public sources, normalise the data, and provide search + analytics tools on top.

The Service is provided as-is. We don't guarantee that any listing is currently available, accurately priced, or fairly represented by the source. Always verify with the listing source before transacting.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information.
• Keep your password secure and not share your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at security@realtorspractice.com.
• Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our property data outside the platform without written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or any unsolicited marketing.
• Probe, attack, or attempt to circumvent any security measures.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation.
• Upload content that violates intellectual-property rights, contains malware, or is otherwise illegal.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

We work hard to keep the dataset clean — but we don't own the source data. Listings can be:

• Stale (already sold or rented but still showing as active).
• Mispriced or misclassified at the source.
• Removed by us if we detect fraud, duplication, or quality issues.

We do not act as an agent or broker. We do not facilitate transactions. Use the Service as research, not as a contract path.

The platform includes AI-assisted features (chat assistant, market reports, natural-language search). AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify before relying on AI-generated information for any decision. We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI output.

The Service's software, design, and curated dataset are owned by us. Underlying property listings remain owned by their respective sources. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g. profile avatar). You grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to provide the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (so, in most cases, zero — the Service is currently free).

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account via the process described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend access immediately for material breach of these terms or for security reasons. After termination, sections that by their nature should survive (Liability, IP, etc.) continue to apply.

We may update these terms. The new version takes effect 30 days after the “Effective” date at the top, unless the changes are required by law (in which case they take effect immediately). Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
